Weekend mornings spent upstate with a good book and some coffee.
Summer is coming to a close and I've been dreading it. With summer ending, that means back to school and colder weather. To celebrate the last bit of summer, I decided to go upstate with Isabell to the beautiful, Hasbrouck House. They were kind enough to give us an upgrade on the room!
I loved the interior of the hotel and mornings are so quiet upstate. I get to breathe in the fresh air and not have to worry about the fast paced life in Manhattan. The weather was beautiful and in the morning, I decided to head down to the study for some coffee and light reading.
With the weather being so nice. I decided to wear my mustard dress which fits perfectly around my body. It's a great color to match my surroundings as well as being able to bring in the fall. The day was filled with fun activities like shopping, exploring some of the farms in Stone Ridge and drinking some coffee.
One of my favorite shoes to wear in the summer are wrap sandals. They are casual and cute! I knew that we were going to do some light activities and just relaxed. We ended the night by grabbing some dinner at the hotel's restuarant, followed by watching a movie under the stars and then having some smores aorund a fire!
See you guys next week!
