Palm Springs Livin' (In collaboration with Shein)
vacay all day.
For the month of March, I decided to take the month off to focus on a new internship opportunity as well as go on a vacation! Everything was so hectic and it still is! If you guys didn't know, I'm a full-time student as well as running my fashion blog full-time.
Deciding on where to take a vacation was a no-brainer. Definitely somewhere warm and sunny! We had 5 snow storms in March, it always seemed to snow every Tuesday. Palm Sprngs, California was a no-brainer!
While on vacation, I wanted to check out the Palm Springs Art Museum! They currently have an Andy Warhol exhibit that showcased some of his best work as well as pictures of him. They also have an amazing sculpture garden that was the perfect backdrop for this shoot!
The day was beautiful with the sun shining down! I wanted to have an effortless look that didn't need to be planned out. This crop top and skirt duo from Shein came in handy!
When you're on vacation, you don't want to be wearing heavy layers! Wearing a light breathable fabric is perfect for doing some sightseeing and shopping!
The weather was beautiful during the week that I was there. It varied in the 70s and 80s which was a welcome from the cold of NY. I enjoyed being under the sun and working on my tan!
The art museum featured some amazing artwork that I could not get over. It was curated so nicely and expressed different areas of Palm Springs. If you guys get a chance to go, I recommend it!
I did do some shopping beforehand and when I saw this bag at Forever 21, I knew that I needed it. It's perfect for a tropical vacation or a desert one! It was my go-to bag for every day and it held a lot of items!
I was in love with the bag, to the point of wearing it every day while I was on vacation. Be prepared to see it in new posts coming up! I have a feeling that it'll be one of my favorite bags for the upcoming season.
Don't worry guys! I'll have a Palm Springs guide up soon! It will feature places to go and eat. If you guys are in Palm Springs for Coachella, I hope you check out the Palm Springs Art Museum!
See you guys next week!
